Sauce for the Goose

“The Last Supper,” by, ah, Leo Da Vinci

Sauce for the goose is, they say, sauce for the gander. “Upper Italy” is not dead certain it actually knows what this expression means, but we hope it has something to do with the eerie interrelation between this interesting tattoo, loosely based on the “Last Supper” by Leonardo Da Vinci, and a conceptually similar Masonic monstrosity we showed you a few weeks ago, (here).

In one way it is heartening to know that there are two neatly counterbalancing views on either side of a religious divide like that between the raging Catholics and the raging Masons. On the other, it is disturbing to realize that, if we add all the mad men of one flavor or another together, they are probably a substantial majority on this earth.

We don’t even want to think about what Protestant evangelical tattoo artists are doing this year. Please don’t send us any examples. Thank you.
